Objectives

The students will:

• work in groups of three to five students to study the life cycle of the Corn Earworm
• devise a schedule for group members to carry out tasks and observations
• set up an area where they can observe the life cycle throughout the day and week
• become familiar with the scientific process which includes forming a hypothesis, collection, preparation and observation, experimentation, collecting, recording, analyzing, concluding, and reporting
• use whatever technology is available to assist them
